My very close associate - my other skin - Paul Conneally is just about to start a haiku poetry tour of Skate Parks up and down the UK. Skate Boarders have been somewhat of a constant feature at Paul's public workshops right back to the residency he had in the Ukiyo-e exhibition 'Parade of Life' at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery back in 2001. Just why haiku and skateboards go together so well he hasn't yet fathomed. This tour will once again feature the poet in 'public intervention' mode - the workshops will be unnanounced - the poet just turning up introducing himself to the skaters and away they go.
